In March of 2013 Goodwill of Southern Nevada was awarded a coveted 4-star rating from Charity Navigator for sound fiscal management and a proven commitment to accountability and transparency.

As recent hard economic times have forever shaped the nonprofit sector, there is an unprecedented demand from savvy donors for greater accountability, transparency, and quantifiable results from the charities they choose to support. In this competitive philanthropic marketplace, Charity Navigator highlights the fine work of efficient, ethical, and open charities. As America’s premier charity evaluator, Charity Navigator is the gold standard in providing donors with essential information needed to give them greater confidence in the charitable choices they make.

The 4-star rating is the highest possible rating bestowed on nonprofits by Charity Navigator and illustrates our commitment to good governance and highlights how we pursue our mission in a fiscally responsible way. Only one-quarter of evaluated charities receive this distinction, indicating that Goodwill of Southern Nevada outperforms many other charities in America.

All information concerning donors or prospective donors, including their names, addresses and telephone numbers, the names of their beneficiaries, the amount of their gift, etc., shall be kept strictly confidential by Goodwill of Southern Nevada, its Team Members and volunteers.  Goodwill will only share personal information once the donor has given the charity specific permission to do so.

Donors are recognized in donor reports, newsletters, and other relevant publications, while respecting their confidentiality and anonymity of donors, as requested.
