Goodwill offers three Community Based Training Programs that serve those in our community with documented disabilities; retail training, warehouse training and janitorial training.  All Community Based Training Programs are available to clients enrolled with the Bureau of Vocational Rehabilitation (BVR) or Desert Regional Center (DRC) who are referred to Goodwill.  Each program uses real work environments to assess the job readiness skills of individuals with disabilities who are seeking competitive employment in Southern Nevada.

 

Some clients within the Community Based Training Program may also participate in Workforce Development Workshops, which focus on topics such as social skills or money counting.

 

After successfully completing Community Based Training, some clients may receive additional services such as job placement assistance, or job coaching and retention assistance.
